Questions we get at the trailhead.
How long does a project take?
A brand discovery on its own is usually two to three weeks. A full identity plus website typically runs six to ten weeks, depending on how much content needs writing and how fast feedback comes back. That said, when a deadline is genuinely immovable we can go much faster. With a tight scope and content in hand we have put sites live within hours. Tell us the date and we'll tell you straight whether it's doable. Either way you get a real date at the Trailhead Session, not a range.
Do I have to take the whole thing?
No. Plenty of clients come with a brand they like and just need the site built, or the opposite. Take the leg of the trail you need.
Who actually does the work?
The same person you talk to. There's no account layer and no handoff to a junior team after you sign.
What if I already have a site I don't hate?
Then we probably shouldn't rebuild it. Base Camp Hosting and Ranger Service exist for exactly that situation. Keep what works, make it faster and safer, improve it in small pieces.
Can you work with my platform?
Yes. We work in Wix, WordPress, Squarespace and Shopify, so if you'd rather stay somewhere familiar, that's a real option. Custom is our default though. This site, Ready. Set. Picnic. and Patriot Shootout are all custom builds, which means nothing loads that you aren't using and nobody else has your layout. If your platform is genuinely holding you back we'll say so, and tell you what moving would cost.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope, and anyone quoting you before they've asked questions is guessing. The Trailhead Session is free and ends with a real number.
